Three dancers, one voice, one guitar and a percussion box. No Frills is flamenco stripped down to its bare essence. A celebration of the raw yet nuanced energy that that flamenco awakens not only in the performer but in the spectator too. Through an exploration of a number of its traditional styles in their most evocative form, this show goes in search of pure expression. Three young artists, Noemi Luz, Yinka Esi Graves and Magdalena Mannion seamlessly interweave their individual styles using their shared flamenco language.   So what happens when you take away the frills...?   For one hour the artists occupy the space in a continuous dialogue with each other and the audience. No Frills asks the spectator to put aside its pre-conceptions of what flamenco is and gives them a unique insight into its rhythms, its melodies, its energy and its power.   "This show transcends language, transcends tradition...transcends conscious thought..." Robbie Carnegie, Buxton Fringe Festival.
